LIMONE PIEMONTE SKI RESORT - RISERVA BIANCA

A MIX OF INNOVATION AND TRADITION

The ski area of the Riserva Bianca in Limone Piemonte is located between the altitudes 1,050 and 2,085 metres, with 80 km of perfectly prepared slopes. Limone Piemonte is one of the most technical and complete ski areas in the Alps. Here, back in 1937, “lo slittone” was installed, the first artisanal ski lift built in southern Piedmont, capable of reaching 700 metres to access the high altitude slopes.

Today Limone is an international ski resort. Several welcoming structures offer guests the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends, and enjoy their holiday in the snow to the fullest. The renowned resort offers wellness centres, trendy, but sophisticated clubs and chalets with a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, affording a beautiful view of the Alpine peaks. In addition to a welcoming historic centre with restaurants, shops and touring opportunities, there is no shortage of specially designed extra luxury proposals. And then there are the slopes, just a few minutes from the town centre and the train station, reachable "with your boots on", with access also available from the areas of Limonetto and Quota 1400.

Not enough? An ice rink, snow play areas and the Ski Museum complete the picture. If you love to plunge head first into nature you can venture into the mountains with snowshoes (preferably accompanied by a Global Mountain alpine guide) and cast your gaze over the infinity of the Alps. Furthermore, freeride lovers can draw their own track on the immaculate powder in one of the numerous gullies.

You simply can’t leave the valley without first visiting nearby Vernante. The pretty village offers other interesting activities to enjoy as a family: a dog sled trail that leads into the woods for a full immersion in nature, the Pinocchio Museum and a visit to the murals that decorate the houses in the town centre, depicting the famous wooden puppet.
