MUSEUM OF SKI - LIMONE PIEMONTE
The Ski Museum of Limone Piemonte was founded in 2012, within the premises of the Civic Library, with the intention of collecting and handing down the great skiing cultural heritage of the town. It collects photographs, films and period equipment. The museum, dedicated to Agostino Bottero, was renovated in 2021.

The memories present tell important stages of this territory: the story of the construction of the first ski-lifts, of the great champions, of the prestigious races held in Limone and their promotion.
The Museum houses a collection of black and white images, taken from Piero Tosello's historical archive of vintage postcards, to immerse oneself in the Limone of the past. Panoramas, glimpses from the historic centre, ski slopes, ski lifts, hotels: the photographs accompany us into the past, showing an evolving tourist centre that has managed to maintain its charm over time.
The Istituto Luce films project us into the Limone of the 1930s, a true golden age for the town. Barbara Allemand's video story, divided into chapters, instead, retraces the main stages of the transformation of the Limone area from the beginning of the last century to its current configuration.
