CUNEO, THE GREEN CAPITAL OF PIEDMONT

Cuneo, a small patch of land nestled between the Stura and Gesso rivers, takes its name from the shape of the plateau on which it stands. The large Piazza Galimberti is the heart of the city and home to the renowned Tuesday market. Along the central via Roma, entirely pedestrianized, there are historical points of interest, visiting opportunities and gourmet restaurants.

FOSSANO, THE CITY OF THE ACAJA

Fossano is immediately recognizable for its majestic Castello dei Principi d’Acaja. The city, founded in 1236, boasts a first-rate historic centre, with corners, alleys and churches reminiscent of medieval and baroque atmospheres. The network of cycle-hiking trails along the Stura River connects the village to points of naturalistic and cultural interest, such as the Big Bench by Chris Bangle and the Santuario Mariano di Cussanio.

TIME TRAVEL IN MONDOVÌ

The city is a place to explore the very meaning of time, of its flow and passing, far beyond its ancient architecture and places full of history that it holds.

SALUZZO AND THE MARQUISATE

Saluzzo is known as the capital city of the ancient Marquisate that from 1470 to 1547 dominated southwestern Piedmont and succeeded in carving out a prestigious place among the great European kingdoms of the era. Even today in the beautiful historic centre, with an incredible medieval imprint, the traces of its noble heritage are visible and well-preserved.

FALL IN LOVE WITH SAVIGLIANO

The beating heart of Savigliano can be found in Piazza Santa Rosa, one of the best preserved examples of a medieval square in Italy. An agricultural and cultural centre and thriving commercial hub, the city experienced its golden age with the emergence of the “Saviglianese school”, one of the best expressions of the Baroque in Piedmont in the 1600s. The city is connected to trekking and cycling itineraries that go as far as the Monviso valleys.
