Also known for cross-country skiing and the biathlon event thanks to the Centro di sci nordico Gelas, Entracque is the ideal place for a holiday in close contact with nature. There are 4 km of slopes on which Italian alpine ski champion Marta Bassino first donned her skis as a child. This small station allows visitors to have fun in complete safety, hosted in a postcard landscape.  

Everything here is designed to ensure visitors can enjoy mountain life with all the comforts such as bars, diners, and restaurants. There is also a well-equipped sports goods shop with a rental service, at the top of the slopes, and skiers can also bank on the professionalism of the ski instructors who have made this small ski resort the favourite destination of many small skiers, eager to experience the sport with fun.

Once you’ve laid down your skis, you can return to the cosy alpine village and choose whether to indulge in some relaxation with an aperitif or a delicious plate of cujette, a kind of gnocchi made with local potatoes. But believe it or not, there’s more. For children, why not suggest a meeting with the wolf, not on the slopes of course, but in the Centro Uomini e Lupi complete with wildlife area in the Casermette area. It offers a multimedia trail and an observation turret for sighting these magnificent animals, as well as a visitor centre in the village itself.
