The town of Borgo San Dalmazzo offers the possibility to visit the ancient Benedictine Abbazia di San Dalmazzo di Pedona and its museum. Excavations here have revealed remains of the Roman era and an overlap of churches. The underground visit to the archaeological area allows you to observe the various phases of construction of the church, which has preserved its Romanesque features.

In the historic centre stands the ancient Torre Civica, dating back to the sixteenth century, which accesses Piazza 4 Novembre, where the traditional market takes place every Thursday. The Arco di San Rocco, dating back to the second half of the 16th century, is part of the only gate to the city left of the four that were present in the Middle Ages. It is decorated with the original coat of arms of the Municipality with the image of San Dalmazzo on horseback as a Theban soldier.

Next to the railway station, where in 1943/44 the Jews captured by the Germans in the mountains around Borgo San Dalmazzo were massed and then deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp, stands the Memoriale della Deportazione. The monument is dedicated to the memory of these tragic events and is free to visit.

The santuario della Madonna di Monserrato, perched atop a hill, enjoys a panoramic position from which it dominates the city. It can be reached from the centre along a road flanked by the votive pillars of the Via Crucis. The Parco Grandis sits at the foot of the hill, an adventure park in the woods dedicated to children between 8 and 12 who can experiment with different types of games together with their parents.

The Fiera Fredda is an important traditional event held at the start of December, a unique opportunity to taste snails cooked in a thousand ways according to refined local traditions. The queen of the Fiera Fredda is the snail Helix Pomatia Alpina, which has its natural habitat in the Maritime Alps. On December 5th, exploring the national snail market and the large market in the city is a not-to-be-missed experience. March brings another mouth-watering event, Un borgo di cioccolato, followed in April by the Fiera di San Giorgio, an ancient spring trade event.
