HOME OF PIEMONTESE - CARRÙ

In Carrù, in the heart of the typical livestock breeding area, the Casa della Piemontese guides you as you discover the most common native breed of cattle in Italy and its strong link with the Piedmontese territory. A multimedia and interactive path offers insights into the history, characteristics and qualities of a unique breed. A space set aside for guided cooking & tasting sessions informs visitors about the certification systems, teaches them to recognise the different cuts of meat and how to prepare them.

Open on the second and fourth Sundays of the month with 2 guided tours at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Reservations are required. Guided tours from Monday to Sunday for groups of more than 15 persons (reservation required). July and August closed.
