SANCTUARY OF SAN MAGNO - CASTELMAGNO

In the upper Valle Grana, in an area formerly dedicated to the cult of Mars, stands the silhouette of the sanctuary of San Magno (1760 m), which was an almshouse for travellers in transit from the Grana valley to the Stura valley. The complex includes an 18-19th-century part and an older one. In the latter we can admire the fifteenth-century frescoes by Pietro da Saluzzo, featuring the evangelists and doctors of the Church, and those depicting the passion of Christ and the seven holy martyrs of the Theban Legion.

Every Sunday and public holidays from June to September and every day during the months of July and August, from 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
