TAFFINI D’ACCEGLIO PALACE- SAVIGLIANO
A magnificent Baroque building created for the Marquises Taffini d'Acceglio at the beginning of the 17th century, perhaps by Ercole Negri di Sanfront. The main floor hosted the splendid Aula Regia where the most important artists of the time captured the military exploits of Vittorio Amedeo I of Savoy in an extraordinary cycle of frescoes. The Rococo rooms commissioned by Princess Isabella of Savoy Carignano are charming. The building is the administrative and representative office of a bank. Today Palazzo Taffini houses the Mùses - the Accademia Europea delle Essenze.
