ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF SAMPEYRE

The museum, consisting of a dozen rooms, houses tools for agricultural work , bread-making and wool processing; the reconstruction of an old classroom with desks and blackboards; the workshops of a farrier and a blacksmith, as well as traditional costumes, a collection of models with the characters of the Baìo and the authentic vestments of the four “armies” of Sampeyre.

April: Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
May: May 1, 2, 3, 30, and 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
June: June 1, June 2, then weekends from Friday to Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
July and August: open Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  
September: open Friday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
October and November: closed 
December: open on weekends and daily from December 17 through January 6, hours: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Closed on December 25; limited hours on January 1 (3:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.).
