CHESTNUT MUSEUM - VALLORIATE
The Museo del Castagno, or Chestnut Museum, is located in the building opposite the town hall, in the central square. The exhibits in the multipurpose building present all the pathologies of the chestnut tree, with easy to understand explanatory panels designed to identify the most common enemies of our woods. In fact, they feature images of the parasites and the evolution of the various pathologies related to the chestnut and its fruit. The itinerary is enriched by many of the original tools used to maintain the forest and process its fruits.
