Consecrated on 25 September 1791, the church, the work of architect Mario Ludovico Quarini from Chieri, is characterized by an imposing neoclassical facade crossed by Corinthian columns. The interior of the cathedral follows Quarini’s design, while the decoration dates to the nineteenth century. The wooden choir, and the high altar, housing silver busts of certain doctors of the Church, are particularly valuable.
