Museo della Regia Fabbrica di vetri e cristalli e della ceramica di Chiusa di Pesio (Museum of the Royal Glass and Crystal and Ceramics Factory of Chiusa) - The Pesio valley is located between Cuneo and Mondovì, between the Bisalta and the Marguareis. Small in size but with an extensive historical and artistic heritage, it hosts many exquisitely beautiful locations, spanning from Chiusa to the ancient charterhouse and the great mountains. The establishment of the museum testifies to the tradition of ceramic art present in the valley for centuries, up to the present day, and the historical Royal Glass and Crystal Factory built in Turin based on the model of the “Manufactures Privilèges et Royales de France”. The latter was brought to Chiusa in 1759 by the government of Carlo Emanuele III, and it was the most important glass industry in the Sardinian states until 1854.

“The bronzes of Monte Cavanero” archaeological collection - More than three hundred jewels from almost three thousand years ago: the bronze finds discovered near Mount Cavanero are precious evidence of the activity of an artisan smelter who lived at the beginning of the eighth century BC.
