In addition to the downhill slopes, there are also areas for cross-country skiing and freeride, a snow park for freestyle, rental areas and ski schools. And, after a long day of sport, there’s no better way to relax than in the high-altitude clubs, solariums and wellness centres. 

But the fun for all ages doesn't stop on the slopes. The "Pinky Park" and "Prato Nevoso Village" are equipped to entertain little ones with mascots, games, inflatables, and even feature a snow tubing facility for sliding on the snow with multicoloured rafts. 

During summer too, these places certainly know how to charm and entertain their visitors. There is a vast network of tracks, which can be covered on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, such as the Mondolè Ring of Roa Marenca. For a variety of pure adrenaline-fuelled experiences, Artesina proposes a summer tubing slide, a bike park, and a thrilling 1.3 km downhill ride in the summer bobsleigh on monorail. Accessible all year round, on clear days, Chris Bangle's bright red Giant Bench affords a wonderful view of the sea from an altitude of 1,500 meters.

The Grotta del Caudano is a huge karst cave discovered at the end of the 19th century. Its large chambers, rich in stalactites and stalagmites, have been open to visitors since the beginning of the last century. In the vicinity of the cave, we find an adventure park offering safe overhead courses among the trees, between Tibetan bridges, lianas and wooden platforms .

Instead, a visit to the Museo della Montagna e della sua Gente, in the hamlet of Miroglio, is the best opportunity to learn about the traditions and daily life of the past, perhaps during some of the most popular, long-running events held in Frabosa Sottana. These include the live Nativity scene in Pianvignale, and the Castagna d'Oro Gala, a combination of gastronomy and craftsmanship that also recognises the value of great personalities in the areas of sport, entertainment and news, with the Castagna d'Oro Gala award.
