LOOP AROUND THE LAKES ON THE NORTH SLOPE OF MONVISO
At the foot of the head-spinning north face of Monviso and the gigantic sequence of peaks standing higher than three thousand metres above sea level stretching as far as Monte Granero, you will find several enchanting Alpine lakes in distinctly contrasting, less harsh environments. This loop takes in the four main lakes, including the beautiful Chiaretto lake with its intense turquoise colour.
