The feet of the head-spinning north face of Monviso and the gigantic sequence of peaks standing higher than three thousand metres above sea level stretching as far as Monte Granero are home to several enchanting Alpine lakes in distinctly contrasting, less harsh environments. This loop takes the four main lakes, including the beautiful Chiaretto lake and its intense turquoise colour.
