The starting point is the panoramic Viale Mellano, in the heart of the old town of Fossano. From here you can reach the waterway and the surrounding countryside. The path, half on asphalt and half on a dirt track, does not present particular difficulties and is also suitable for children.
The most interesting passage is under the railway bridge over the river Stura. Thanks to two spiral stairs and a covered passage of 200 meters, it offers a spectacular panoramic view.
