The finds unearthed at the nearby archaeological site of Valdieri offer precious evidence of life in the valley in the protohistoric era. The collection includes ceramic artefacts and precious grave goods, in excellent condition, from the cremation necropolis used from the late-middle Bronze Age (fourteenth century BC) to the Middle Iron Age (fifth century BC). A short walk from the centre takes visitors to the burial site, set in a particularly striking landscape.
