GARESSIO 2000 SKI RESORT

BETWEEN PIEDMONT AND LIGURIA

Skiing with a sea view? No, it’s not the result of midday madness, but a real possibility if you choose to ski in Garessio. We are still in Piedmont, but on one side the gaze is drawn towards the Monviso, and on the other the view opens up to offer glimpses of the Ligurian Sea.

One of the first ski resorts to be built in the Cuneo Alps, Garessio 2000 is located between the altitudes of 1,070 and 2,000 metres, at the Colle di Casotto, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria. A ski area of the Maritime Alps, it is the closest to Riviera di Ponente and offers 12 km of slopes, all with different degrees of difficulty.

The five blue tracks and the moving walkway make the station particularly suitable for those taking their first steps on the snow. There is also an area with bobsleigh and toboggan runs where fun for the whole family is guaranteed.

For fresh snow adventures with snowshoes, or ski mountaineering trips, we recommend you have yourself accompanied by a professional mountain expert, such as the Global Mountain guides. During the summer, do not miss a visit to Garessio, the Santuario di Valsorda and the Reggia di Valcasotto.
