SKI MOUNTAINEERING - The magnificent amphitheatre formed by the peaks of the Cuneo valleys, with over 400 ski mountaineering itineraries reachable in a maximum of 45 minutes from Cuneo and a 180-day long season, is one of the most suitable districts in the Alps for ski-mountaineering. Here you can find experiences for everyone, from beginners to the most demanding, expert ski mountaineers.

FREERIDE - Off-piste skiing with lift-assisted ascent, with Global Mountain, is ‘fun with safety guaranteed’. Offering guiding services and courses, the mountain guides offer opportunities to learn the basics of the skiing technique and how to use self-rescue tools. An avalanche rescue drill is carried out every day. The self-rescue kit (backpack with airbag, avalanche beacon, shovel and probe) is provided by the organization. Daily programmes and multi-day ski safaris are available for exploring the best descents on untracked terrain offered by the ski resorts in the province of Cuneo. Guiding services to assist both newbies and trained and demanding freeriders.

ICE WATERFALLS - Specific guiding services, basic courses of several outings and advanced courses to discover the most beautiful icefalls in the Cuneo valleys with Global Mountain alpine guides. For beginners, daily ice climbing experiences on equipped walls. The technical equipment is provided by the organization.

THE COURSES - For a safe approach to the mountains, Global Mountain guides will be on hand with courses on how to use the avalanche beacon, ice climbing courses (Ice Days, on various dates in January and February), ski mountaineering courses (dates in December, January and February) and steep skiing courses (in January and March).
