Every season has its fruit: peaches, kiwis, apples, darmassin plums. The professionalism of the producers and a particularly well-suited region offer high quality products. Cuneo PGI red apples. Crunchy and juicy, they are available in four varieties: Red Delicious, Gala, Fuji, Braeburn. Grey apples from Torriana. They have a grey, slightly rusty peel. This is the classic apple to make baked apples. It has a slightly sour and aromatic flavour, with an intense flavour. Peaches. There are three main types: yellow peaches, white peaches and nectarines with a smooth skin. They are juicy and sweet. Kiwis. Also known as Actinidia, a record in world production. A panacea rich in fibres and mineral salts, it has twice as much vitamin C as citrus fruits. 
 

White hen of Saluzzo. Its white plumage gave it this name. It has an excellent high-quality meat with a delicate flavour, of poultry bred outdoors. 
 

In this valley we can also find asparagus from Revello, apples from Valle Bronda, fresh tomini cheese, batiaje (corn cookies), mustaccioli (traditional pastries) and craft beer. 
 

Special local dishes: insalata di gallina bianca (chicken salad), caponèt (stuffed cabbage rolls), fruit tarts, bignëtte di mele (apple fritters).
