The structure, an ancient tavern in the hamlet, is one of the pieces that combine to make up the Ecomuseo della Segale, created to protect and preserve the memory of the local cultural heritage (of both the physical and intangible varieties) which, especially in the twentieth century, has undergone profound social transformations due to depopulation. The I Bateur shop-tavern and the Lo Viòl di Tàit trail are closely connected with the Museum. The latter is a ring-shaped hiking itinerary complete with stopping points. By scanning the QR-Codes provided with a smartphone, visitors can identify and learn about the surrounding landscape and local man-made works and listen to stories.
