The station's strong point is its Conca, a large sunny area and a source of happiness for young and old. Host of some of the most important sporting and musical gatherings on the snow, the location is a traditional mecca for visitors during the long-awaited Open Season and the well-known New Year's Eve in Conca. The events calendar proposed by the ski station is packed with many fun and sporting events, ending with the Spring Splash in springtime.

The snow park, by now fully tried and tested, is super-organised here, designed specifically to offer a fun experience among its many rails, boxes and kickers. For those who speak the lingo, there are easy, medium and hard lines, where they can jump to the rhythm of music, then post their progress in real time, enjoying a perfect mix of freedom and fun, liberty and movement. The slopes, with various degrees of difficulty, cater for everyone. They wind for over 36 km, overlooking an exceptional landscape, the beautiful view spanning as far as   the Monviso, and the Matterhorn. The important work done by Discesaliberi to promote an inclusive approach to skiing and snowboarding, and provide professional training for people with all types of disabilities is noteworthy.

The Prato Nevoso Village is dedicated to children, a playground in the snow where children they can take part in fun, educational, and sporting activities and games, while their parents enjoy a well-deserved, relaxing break. But there is more: one of the most thrilling activities on offer is snow tubing, with its 6 different fun tracks for adults and children, not to mention organised snowshoeing trips, horse-riding on snow and snowmobiling.

The pride and joy of this mountain jewel is the panoramic La Rossa cable car, which can also be used by pedestrians seeking to reach the area’s pristine snow and mountain chalets. The numerous refuges of the station offer gourmet stops both during the day and in the evening, also when the slopes are open at night, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The station's motto, not surprisingly, is: "It's a fun place!".

The slopes of Prato Nevoso are open to all skiers. The DiscesaLiberi Association mainly operates on these slopes, organising beginners’ courses in skiing and snowboarding for people with physical, sensory, intellectual and relational disabilities, but that’s not all: it provides specific equipment and aids for all types of disabilities, offers assistants for people with disabilities and guides for blind skiers, and offers services and support in terms of logistics and accessibility to facilities and services.
