The upper floor of the civic art gallery houses the art of Giuseppe Augusto Levis, displaying a carefully chosen selection of the city collection, bequeathed to the city by the artist. The corpus of works on display is organized chronologically and by theme, and contemplates the most popular iconographic subjects: the views of the Piedmontese valleys, glimpses of the First World War in which he participated as a volunteer and, from 1909, the year in which he began to break away from his master, striking Dutch and Russian views, alongside his discovery of exoticism and the North African light.

The initiative is promoted by the City of Racconigi, conceived and organized by the Carlo Sismonda APS cultural association, with the contribution of the CRT Foundation, and the patronage of the Piedmont Region, in collaboration with the Municipality of Torre San Giorgio.
