Part of an important Benedictine monastic complex of very ancient origin built on a Roman temple to the goddess Diana; this place of worship was initially Romanesque, but took on the characteristics of Mannerism and Baroque. Its apse, with paintings by Molineri and Arbasia, is of high artistic value. The Benedictine cloister, in Renaissance style, is located adjacent to the building.
