Valle Varaita Trekking is an itinerary in stages that covers the entire valley in 12 days, climbing from the south-facing slope to descend from the opposite one. The stages, ranging from 4 to 8 hours of walking, for a total length of about 180 km and a positive difference in altitude of 7300 m, have been designed to ensure that every single arrival point will have a stop-off place, be it a refuge, B&B, guesthouse or hotel.


The Valle Varaita Trekking itinerary can be covered entirely, but it can also be an excellent starting point for planning single day hikes and shorter rings.
