This adventure starts in the centre of Bagnolo Piemonte. From the parish church of San Pietro in Vincoli take Via Confraternita and then via Poetto. Take Via Cave and start the climb towards the Castle of Bagnolo. Continue on Via Cave until the junction, then turn left into Via Palazzo where you will see an excellent view of the Castle. Continue on Via Palazzo until you reach the magnificent water mill with attached sawmill. Then continue until you pass Palazzo Malingri on the left. Pass the hamlet of Morelli and turn left onto Via San Defendente. Now the climb is more challenging and you’ll come across orchards, vineyards and fruit chestnut groves.

Continue uphill until you reach the Cappella dell’Addolorata then continue on Via Pravallino.

Once you reach the panoramic bend over the Infernotto Valley with its adjoining votive column, continue on the flat dirt road until you reach the junction for the Dominus Tecum monastery. Continue right following the signs for the agriturismo Stella d'Catlina. When you come across the dolmen, continue straight on along the dirt road, and after a few hundred metres you’ll see the road narrowing a little along the gneiss crag of Barma Scalarat. Continuing on the same road, which becomes steeper, you’ll come across some birch and beech trees, then get closer to the Balma Oro quarry. You will come to a crossroads with a small house on the left. Turn right and continue the climb on the road, which becomes more challenging and gravelly.

Once you reach the quarry, the road follows a gradual descent. Cross the quarry, climb the hairpin bends to the junction from where you go right, following the road that becomes very wide and soon overlooks the suggestive grassy basin. A few more metres and suddenly you will see the town of Montoso on the right and the impressive Luserna stone quarry on the left. When you get to the paved road continue to the left, climbing the last few metres of the trail which becomes very panoramic until you reach the palazzi di Rucas. The ski lifts are located here.

Start your descent now, following the sign indicating how to access the range. Pay attention: at the second junction which again indicates the polygon, keep descending on the right and then, at a large open space which hosts processing waste from the quarries, turn sharply to the right following the disconnected, steep track.

Pass through the young beech forests and you’ll reach the great Luserna stone quarry. Ride past the large quarry, take a side road and keeps to the left until you reach a house made of dark wood. Go up the steep grassy ramp on the right, cross the football field and once you reach the paved road that climbs upwards, proceed for a few meters on the right, arriving in the centre of Montoso. Now ride down the provincial road 246 (via Cave) and keep your eyes peeled because, at an altitude of 1,200 meters, you have to turn left on a steep ramp. Follow the fun, fast trail that soon leads you onto a dirt road, riding as far as the Chiesa di Madonna della Neve. Continue your descent on the road and at the next junction turn left onto Via Bergera towards Villaretto. You should soon see a sculpture and some recycling bins: here enter via Comba by following the elbow bend on the right. Continue your descent and at the junction for “Happy Horse” keep riding along via Comba, which now becomes a dirt road. Near the houses, stay on the left following the white and red signs, and finally take the paved road, going down to the village of Fenogli. Now turn right and in a few minutes you will be in Villaretto. Cross Via Bibiana and ride along Via Borgia for 200 metres until you come to the cycle path. Turning right, in 10 minutes it takes you to the centre of Bagnolo Piemonte.
