LAKE BIECAI

8,4 km

Lake Biecai is an ephemeral lake: its waters flow completely into the underground ravines of the karst sinkhole where it is located when summer arrives. The best time to visit is early June when, after the snow has melted, the lake can be enjoyed in all its glory. A fine trail passing through wide valleys and pastures at the feet of the Saline mountain peak which, from this viewpoint, recalls the iconic El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.
