BRONDELLO GREEN CIRCUIT RING
16 km
A perfect route for those who love tranquility and unusual places. The Bronda valley offers this easy-to-access adventure suitable for families or first time cycling tourists: we will climb on a paved panoramic road, then continue on forest tracks with a well-beaten surface among chestnut groves. The main destination of the route is the Chiesa di San Grato. Then you can choose two different return routes based on the time you have available. The route can be ridden as an afternoon activity or repeated in as part of a cross country training plan. Instead, for families it is to be considered an adventure that takes the whole day, from morning until late afternoon, with a lunch break at the Chiesa di San Grato.

The complete route you will ride is about 16 km with a total elevation gain of 580 metres. It is an itinerary that we recommend you tackle on a MTB, E-bike or gravel bike, as the surface is partly unpaved. It is a varied mid-altitude mountain route alternating stretches of paved road and well-signposted forest tracks.
The route starts from Brondello near the cappella dei Santi Rocco e Sebastiano at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, developing on the orographic left of the Bronda valley. Climb the paved road on the left of the chapel, and after a few minutes you can enjoy a view of the ancient tower of Brondello. Then proceed until the hamlets of Ceppi and Bellini, at 570 metres above sea level. After passing a fountain, turn onto Via Bellini and climb to the end of the asphalt. Here continue on the dirt road and reach the junction for the descent towards the Chiesa di Sant’Eusebio. Ride down the pleasant dirt track until you reach the sixteenth-century Chiesa di Sant’Eusebio, where a fountain is located. Then ride along the beautiful watershed between the Bronda Valley and the Po Valley to your final destination: the cappella di San Grato in Pagno. Here you can stop for a lunch break or for a snack and cast your gaze over the entire Po Valley, the Saluzzo area and the city of Turin.
From here you’ll retrace your steps, returning to Sant’Eusebio, and the junction from which you started your descent. Now take the path on the right towards San Michele (sign) and climb up on the dirt track until the junction that points towards the climb to San Michele on the right: ignore it and continue straight on to the end of the dirt track near the De Castro / Dressenetto area. After a quick descent on asphalt you immediately join the provincial road and a relaxing descent takes you first to the Chiesa of Madonna delle Grazie and then the town of Brondello. Here you can admire the Romanesque stone bridge over the Bronda river that dates back to the thirteenth century, the Chiesa dell’Assunta then, after a few minutes you’ll return to the starting point.
