Peace and nature characterise the charm of the ancient Charterhouse of the Alpi Liguri, founded in 1173 and developed until the 18th century. The grandiose complex, which bears the imprint of the seventeenth-century conversions by Giovenale Boetto, was transformed in a short time, for almost six centuries, into one of the most important cultural and spiritual centres in Piedmont. Its large sixteenth-century cloister, open on one side, is one of its most memorable features.
